Hi! I’m Becky Funk.

Former teacher, anxiety survivor, and the Neutral Third Party your teen actually listens to.

I didn’t just study anxiety. I lived it.

To say I was an awkward teenager is an understatement. I struggled with low self-esteem, I didn't believe I was "good" at anything, and I was paralyzed by the pressure to be perfect.

When I became a high school teacher, I saw that same pain in the eyes of my students. I saw brilliant kids who were terrified to raise their hands, terrified to fit in, and terrified of making a wrong move.

But my real turning point came in 2020. When my son was diagnosed with two brain infections, I felt like I was walking through hell. The chronic worry took a physical toll on my body—tinnitus, back pain, the works. I realized that "just venting" wasn't enough. I needed tools to reset my nervous system.

That journey from "paralyzed" to "empowered" is the foundation of everything I do.

From Classroom to Coach

I loved teaching, but going back to the classroom after being away for 10 years and through a pandemic wasn’t in the cards. But I still wanted to help teens.

I became a Master Certified Life & Confidence Coach to be the person I needed when I was younger so they don’t have to stumble through life like I did.

My philosophy is simple: Your teen isn't broken. They just need a better system to handle their stress.

Me as a woman with long brown hair smiling while holding a fluffy tabby cat (named Charlie) outdoors in a backyard with a wooden fence and trees in the background.

Meet Charlie! Charlie is a certified therapy cat through KPETS. He’s our special little dude who loves to help my clients feel comfortable and give them some laughs, when invited, of course! Even loved by my dog people because he acts like a dog!

And... I’m Here for You, Too, Mom.

Over the last few years of coaching teens, I noticed a pattern. Behind almost every anxious teen is a caring, perfectionist mom who is trying so hard but spiraling right along with them.

I realized I couldn't just help the kids; I had to support the mothers who were white-knuckling their way through parenting.

Whether I’m working with your teen to find their voice, or working with you to release the guilt, my goal is the same: To help your family stand strong, together.
