confident, resilient teens.
$1950
Who is this for?
I created Stand Strong Teen Coaching for teens who
put pressure on themselves to be perfect all of the time
feels like they always have to do and be the best but have no clue why
unravel when they make a mistake and feel like they are letting everyone down
feels the need to go above and beyond
is afraid to make a decision or start something because they’re afraid they’ll do it wrong
Anxiety is measured in how self-aware a person is versus how well they can manage (or regulate) their emotions. In the Reactive to Resilient Quadrants above, you can get an idea of where your teen falls. I help the Reactive, Avoidant and Overwhelmed teens become Resilient teens through my framework, The Stand Strong System.
The Stand Strong System:
How to stop putting pressure on yourself to be perfect and start standing strong in your decisions.
I developed the Stand Strong System after looking back at my own journey with anxiety and assessing how I got a handle on it as well as from working with several anxious teens. We all start with a lack of awareness for how we’re wired to view the world and how lifestyle choices affect our anxiety.
And I found that what we all wanted was basically the same:
to be able to speak your mind without worrying about offending someone
feeling that you are wrong in some way
to stop second guessing every decision
to stop apologizing all of the time
When I start working with teens, we take a look at becoming aware of who they are and how that affects their anxiety. Then we tackle ways to become more resilient. Lastly, it’s time to start advocating for themselves, whether that’s with friends, teachers, bosses or you, the parents/guardians.
That gets the results both you and your teen want:
to have those difficult conversations without your teen checking out
your teen to learn that you are a safe place
for your teen to stop worrying about offending someone or feel the need to apologize all of the time. That their thoughts and opinions are important.
What does this package look like? What’s included?
6 months of private 1-on-1 coaching either in person or virtually through Zoom, meeting every other week that allows your teen to be vulnerable and get personalized and targeted help.
Access between sessions (Voxer, Marco Polo) for access in between sessions because life happens fast when you are a teen! It’s nice to know they have access to a trusted, impartial 3rd party who can give them guidance with friend issues, a bad test grade, etc.
For in-person clients, Charlie (soon-to-be certified therapy cat) will join us in our sessions if my client would like him there. Charlie (a cat who thinks he’s a dog) helps put my clients at ease which helps them open up.
Ennneagram typing because my clients love learning how they’re wired to view the world AND to learn that they are not the only ones wired that way.
I’ve seen counselors and have some dear friends who are counselors, but their intake process can be a bit overwhelming. My intake process is easy - your teen does not want to be filling out a bunch of forms. We take care of all of that in our sessions.
Evening and weekend availability so your teen doesn’t need to miss school.
Payment plans available.
What’s next?
Before signing up or committing to anything, we have a conversation. In this conversation, you’ll tell me about your teen and your concerns, your goal for them working with me. I’ll ask questions to make sure I’m a good fit. I have a holistic approach to anxiety and am not able to diagnose or treat a person with an anxiety disorder. If I believe this to be an anxiety disorder or possibly anxiety related to a health issue, I will give you some fantastic recommendations.
This call is free and is limited to 20 minutes.*
*If you would like for your teen to have a chance to speak to me as well, we can add on an additional 10 minutes at the time of our call. Please make sure your teen will be present when you schedule!
